Saturday, February 23, Girl Scouts Camp, 1:00-4:00p.m. It's time to volunteer! We have decided, once again, to join forces with the Girl Scouts/Brownies at Alice Chester Center in East Troy, WI (the Girl Scout lodge/camp). We are looking for volunteers for crafts, language lessons, dance lessons, singing, games, cultural presentations, slide presentations, etc. The Girl Scouts loved what we did last year, and are open to anything we have to offer. March 1, 6:00 pm, 2nd Annual Peace Corps Partnership Dinner. Tickets are $28.00 ($10.00 of your ticket will directly support Peace Corps Partnership projects in Latin America/Caribbean). MPCA will match your donation, dollar for dollar to double the impact of your support (up to $400). Dinner guests will have the opportunity to vote on which projects to support with the event proceeds. Saturday, July 26, Annual MPCA Picnic, 12 noon, Grant Park Picnic Area #7 215 Lake Dr. South Milwaukee, 53172 MPCA will provide burgers, veggie burgers, brats, soda, beer, and the condiments. Please bring a dish to pass. The cost of the event is $5 for MPCA members and $7 for non members (Pay at the park). The money collected will go towards the cost of the shelter rental and the food.
