When: Sunday July 1, 2012 12:00 pm - 4:00 pm
Where: 2151 S Robinson Ave, Milwaukee 53207

This event was well attended and volunteers young and wise came to lend a hand under the hot summer sun. Volunteers picked weeds, planted flowers, worked in the compost piles and painted signs. Working with Sweet Water Organics, volunteers were able to better understand the wonderfully effective and environmentally-friendly Aquaponics system that they use as well as become involved with this neat organization that works so hard to serve Milwaukee with its own home-grown produce.

Volunteers at Agriculture Service Day 2012

Honoring Our Past, Inspiring Our Future

You are cordially invited to attend a day of service with current Peace Corps Applicants, Regional Recruiters, and Returned Peace Corps Volunteers. Spaces are limited to RSVPs on a first come, first serve basis. Immediately following the service day will be a networking reception potluck open to all who can attend.

A great opportunity to informally network, share stories, and share additional insight for those preparing to depart for Peace Corps service.
