About Us
Overview
After going into a brief period of inactivity, the Milwaukee Peace Corps Association (MPCA) is again active. In the year 2000, the group established 501(c)3 status.
Originally founded in 1968, the Milwaukee Peace Corps Association currently has a membership of about 85. The Board of Directors meets monthly, and the MPCA publishes a quarterly newsletter.
Our Mission
MPCA is a community of former and future Peace Corps volunteers and families who continue to promote Peace Corps ideals through cultural education and the support of both local and international development organizations. It also provides social activities and emotional support for Returned Peace Corps Volunteers and those returning from abroad.
